Ngāti Hine FM is part of the Ngāti Hine Health Trust that links to Te Runanga o Ngāti Hine and was established to serve Ngāti Hine and the greater tribe of Ngāpuhi in Te Tai Tokerau.

Ngāti Hine FM is one of 21 iwi radio stations in Aotearoa New Zealand who receive funding by Te Māngai Paho to support te reo revitalisation initiatives.

Ngāti Hine FM is situated in Whangārei with a satellite studio in Kawakawa from which it broadcasts daily via it's radio frequencies - 99.6FM & 99.1FM and online streams.
